Norway handmade goods company Khmer handmade items will be opening a store in New York City, according to a new report.
The Norwegian handmade items store will be located at 838 Broadway in New Jersey.
The store will sell handmade items from Norway, as well as the Nordic countries, including Finland, Iceland and Norway.
The shop will be the first location for the company to open in the United States.
The store will open later this year.
Khmer is based in the town of Norrkoping in the Nordic country of Svalbard.
The company started in the early 1980s, and is currently the largest producer of handmade goods in Norway.
The launch comes as Norwegian businesses in the country are looking to expand into New York as well.
The number of Norwegian entrepreneurs has increased more than sixfold in the last two years.KHmer started with just a few people and grew into one of Norway’s largest producers of handmade products.
The company produced and sold everything from kitchenware to toys.
In 2017, the company launched a new store in Los Angeles, which is now the largest in the U.S.
The New York store will have a variety of products, including home decor, furniture, apparel and toys, according a press release.
